Is this a roadside weed #2

Notes:

Was asked to provide more pictures for a previous post…I either dug this up from the side of the road or unknowingly bought some seed but I don’t know what it is. This is as much as it is going to flower I’m guessing. The “flowers” are yellowish. The clump is at the top of a single stem with thin leaves. It is about 4 1/2 feet tall and 12 inches across. I have tried to provide better pictures this time.

The pictures are much better and should help with identifying the plant. Looking closely at the bloom do you see any tiny white rays surrounding the yellow? If not compare your plant to this link: http://plants.usda.gov/java/largeImage?imageID=binu2_002_avp.jpg

Bobby, I think you are right. There are no white rays and the flower heads don’t seem to open up the just stay like yellow bumps at the end of the stem. This must be something I dug up because I didn’t buy it anywhere. Thank you so much for your identification…how on earth did you do it?
