Notes:
I have groups of this plant growing in some of my beds. I’m a novice and inherited most everything in the yard when I bought the house last year. I need to figure out if this is invasive and should be gotten rid of. thanks!

I believe Shannon is correct. Check the stem. If it is square, which im sure it is and the Opposing leaves make me think mint family. Does it have a spearmint, peppermint, or lemon (lemon balm) scent? Hope you figure it out.

I’m certainly no expert but that looks an awful lot like mint. Pinch a leaf and see if it smells like spearmint. If so, time to make some Mojitos!
