Name that plant

Appeared in my garden this spring. Do not recognize the leaves! There are about a dozen of them. Can you help?

Please resubmit with the whole plants from their side views. Also images of these in their early seedling stages if there any. Please tell us if the leaves are opposite, alternate, etc… on the stem. Thank you & best wishes!
