Notes:
Found this plant growing next to a fence in the neglected yard of a recently-purchased property. This one stands about 5 feet tall on a single stem/trunk. There is a smaller one next to it, too. I don’t see any blossoms or berries. Any ideas? Lydia

Are the leaves serrated and slightly fuzzy? I could be a basswood tree.
