I classify this as a weed since it has a fibrous stem rather than a woody stem. It is large (around 5 feet tall). It had small white flowers, and while most of the berries are green many of them have turned this deep purple color. This is growing in an area that gets part to full shade and is about 30 feet away from a creek.
