Notes:

This plant gets small yellow flowers about 3/8’s inch in diameter that turn into 5 fluted seed pods about the same size 3/8’s inch length and diameter. Not sure whether shrub, tree, or vine.

    Maybe a species of Indian mallow. Too bad we don’t have the photo of flower bud & opened flower to help narrow down which one is yours.
