Notes:
Tree/shrub seems healthy, has glossy leaves and large berry-like blooms, more this year than before…a volunteer of sorts…want to prune it back, but can I? It is over 12 feet tall at this point.

Maybe ornamental crabapple. If it’s thorny it could be a wild crabapple. A closeup of the leaves and fruit would sure help with a more certain ID.
