Deer resistant, tolerates shade, dies back completely in fall. Does not change color.
Returns in spring.(Perennial) About 18 inches tall. Sends out creeping roots and spreads. No noticeable fragrance from flower spikes.Looks like sweetspire but dries up completely in the fall and leaves/stems turn brown and die.
