Hi,
I took snippings of this shrub two years ago and propagated it successfully. It came from a semi-shaded area from a middle school that has been closed. Now the plant is gone, cut down. This year it bloomed in early spring. It seemed to grow in an organized colony like the quince. It bloomes along the entire length of the stem. It is not fragrant, but it is evergreen and winter hearty.
