Notes:
facing south, Summerville, S.C. not much of a tree, under a Busch with pointy leaves and red berries. This plant is beautiful with it’s hot pink flowers and dark round center. My mother-in-law pased a way at the first of the year and we are closing on her house and I am trying to make a map of all the plants so they will know, and hopefully want chop them down.

Maybe harlequin glolrybower (Clerodendrum trichotomum)? The flower of harlequin glorybower’s outer part(calyx) turns from green to red/pink and the dark center is its fruit. Check it out and see if you have a match. It it isn’t it, make a new post with more photos. Best wishes! https://www.google.com/search?q=harlequin+glory+bower+plant&sa=X&biw=1711&bih=833&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&ved=0ahUKEwiIn8CoxJHOAhXE4yYKHVTeAMoQ7AkIYw#imgrc=Xe8qE4081Scu5M%3A
