Notes:

My boys found these things growing in our neglected garden area. I have *never* seen this before. It’s actually hollow in the middle and it has some brown slimy substance, which apparently tiny bugs like. It measures about 3-4 inches high. One of my sons stepped on one – that’s the middle picture – and it shows the inside of the fungus/mushroom
