Notes:
This was growing alongside an old barn in North GA and the owner gave me a clump last year when I stopped to admire it. My first bloom opened this week. But what is it? I can’t identify it and hope that you can. Thank you!

Hi Lyn Yoffee, this looks like a type of beebalm (Monarda), maybe a cultivar of Monarda didyma. Check it out and see if you have a match. Best wishes! https://www.google.com/search?q=Monarda+didyma&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj449-vi-rNAhWGOyYKHVswCqAQiR4IgAE&biw=1867&bih=909
