These only bloom in the spring.
The yellow ones spread quickly.
The red one has “seed pods” after the blooms fall off.
“Flower #3″ grows EVERYWHERE in my yard.

The leaves look like a plant I have, summer farewell, which blooms late.
Possibly it’s a penstemmon?
