Notes:

This plant dies back in the winter and comes alive in the spring and blooms July-August. It does not have a noticeable fragrance. The leaves are large and lush. It came from my homeplace in SC but family members so not have a name for it.

    Sweet tea is right, it is a ginger. Curcuma petiolata, Hidden Ginger.
