This plant seems to grow well in the Sonoran desert. It took about a year after planting to really take off but it has grown maybe 4 inches in the past month or so. I love this plant but I do not know what it is. Please help!

This might be a species of Pachypodium. There are 25 known species. Yours looks very similar to Pachypodium saundersii group.
