Notes:
Looks like a combo of a black walnut and a desert chiltalpa. Serrated pinnate leaves. Blooms in early spring with fragrant white flowers ( similar in appearance to those of the desert chitalpa) and smells very sweet. Drought tolerant. Suckers and spreads as well as seeds. Produces large green seed pods that will split into thirds revealing 3-4 large round black seeds. Squirrels love to eat these.
