Notes:
We find one of these droppings every night, sometimes 2. They just crumble apart. You can see in the photo two eyes and what looks like old bug wings or something like peanut shells. plus other stuff, It falls apart easily. This has been going on for 3 or more weeks and I don’t see any bug, rat or strange creature around it. We found one on our porch, but most are on the sidewalk between our garage and house. Can you help?

I have finally discovered what the residue was that I asked you about. It is Bat Guano! After being gone for 3 days we found a bat sleeping on our porch. In the morning there was this ‘residue’ that looked exactly like the photos I sent you. After I looked up Bat excrement – it was exactly the same thing.

Identify that what?!!! Well I don’t think it’s that or larva. It could be a stage of metamorphosis from an unknown insect but I think it may be just the leftovers from a Robber fly meal. Google that and read about this amazingly efficient predator.
