Notes:
This little grass came up as a volunteer in a pot where another rescued native died. The rescue was in Gwinnett County over a year ago. I’ve tried to key it out, but I’m hopeless with grasses. Any help is greatly appreciated. I don’t want to keep it if it’s a problem plant. Thanks!

It’s a Dichanthelium. Hotdog ain’t that a fancy handle for Panic grass. I kinda like the stuff actually, especially in poor rocky and shady soil where pertnear nothin’ else will grow. http://plants.usda.gov/java/largeImage?imageID=dico2_002_avp.tif There are several varieties. Hope this helps.
