This plant is next to a Japanese Maple. Several landscapers,neighbors, Pikes, etc. have not been able to identify. Can you help???

Your pictures are very busy! In the first shot there appears to be a vining plant showing its developed leaves on the left side a little less than half way down. This reminds me of a burcucumber leaf. Compare what you are seeing with the photos on this site http://weeds.cropsci.illinois.edu/images/Burcucumber/index.htm
