New lawn weed

Notes:

I have a 1 acre fescue lot that was previously a horse pasture, so I have all sorts of green things growing there. This season I have a few patches of this weed: dense, close to the ground, like carpet. Will any decent weed-be-gone type product take care of this nuisance?

Weed b gon formulations should take care of most broadleaf weed varieties that are actively growing. Read the label and follow the directions. Repeat applications may be needed. Weed ID would be helpful. This looks like parsley-piert. Check this link & see what you think. If so, control recommendations are given. http://www.turffiles.ncsu.edu/Weeds/Parsley-piert.aspx

this is burweed (the light green weed in the picture), best bet is Trimec to rid of this nuisance.
