Notes:
Just bought this house at the top of a mountain in North Carolina. 3200 elevation. I thought this was a wax myrtle, but told they don’t grow at this elevation.. and its in pretty much full shade. Maybe an hour very early morning

Without flowers to help with the ID, I’m guessing maybe something in the Kalmia genus? When it blooms and you still don’t know, please resubmit with flowers photo.
