Notes:

I’ve apparently grown a plant whose identify I do not know. It’s huge! About 4-5 feet tall and has quite a number of beautiful orange daisy-like flowers. Hope the picture quality is okay…. But does anyone know what it is????

Thanks. That’s a “bingo”. Glad to know what it is. I’m going to save seed and plant it in a better location. It is a beautiful flower!

It’s not a real sunflower (Helianthus) but Mexican sunflower (Tithonia).

We did grow a variety of sunflowers, so maybe this one got confused with the others. Perhaps you’re right!
