Gorgeous native azalea! Yes, probably Flame. I have to fence mine in to keep the deer away, and they never bloom as nicely as this one!

I think Flame Azalea is part of the parentage of this plant, but I think it may be an Exbury Hybrid azalea. Search Google Images for this plant and compare the pictures.

yes I have them in my garden in NC and they grow wild in North Carolina. Bloomed last month in NC and they are beautiful. Flame Azalea.
