The passion flower from last year was lavender not white. Is this a passion flower bloom?

I am familiar with the passion flower and it’s leaf doesn’t look like that. http://www.ppws.vt.edu/scott/weed_id/paqin.htm

Late breaking news reports that there is a Passion flower clematis! http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/56983/
Good grief. So why the color change? Well, I understand it is not uncommon for clematis to change color from one season to the next. The color change occurs more often when the flower is grown in full sun. Do we have a passion flower clematis that has changed color or did a maypop grow there last year? Life is full of twists and turns. I’m going for the color change theory.

My goodness, it has changed varieties as well! Could the pot have been mislabeled

I was all excited that I recognized it as Sweet Autumn Clematis and then scrolled down to see WAlter had already identified it. This plant spreads everywhere very easily so look for it next year in other places.
