Penland School Flower (ID complete)

« Back to Name that Plant

Date Photo Taken: July 13, 2010.
Location: Penland School, NC Mountains
Posted By: Dub Strickland

Notes:

I found these in front of Penland School in the NC mountains. Growing in a large clump. 4 foot long, strappy, Iris-like leaves. Flowers blood red. Many flowers along a central stem.
Sorry about the quality. It was pouring rain.
