This is the second year this plant has come up volunteer. It is in a spot where I planted jalapeƱos and sweet peppers the year before, but none like this, it is nearly six feet tall and has a single stalk coming out of the ground and bushes out about half way up. The peppers are about a half inch in diameter, I tried biting into one of these peppers last year and it was very much hotter than the jalapeƱos.

Is not unusual for Peppers to come back for a couple of years in a protected spot
no idea what variety this is
