Notes:

I admired this shrub while visiting NC two weeks ago, and brought home this cutting. Can you tell me what it is and if it will grow in the Social Circle area? Thanks!

    Looks like Euonymus alatus. Asian import, invasive. Grows easily from cuttings… Simply plant cutting in garden soil and water… As an invasive… might be a better thing to avoid. http://www.invasive.org/eastern/srs/WBB.html
