Does anyone know what kind of plant this is?
It looks like Aspidistra elatior, (cast iron plant)
I have never seen a bloom on one before.
It is tropical plant that is in the Zingiberaceae family and genus Curcuma. The photograph is of Curcuma alismatifolia Pink commonly called Siam Tulip
The aspidistra bloom is insignificant at or just above ground level. I think this is some sort of curcuma. Check it out.
I bow to the correct id.
