Seems to grow at the base of trees. Has hard, white balls (flowers/seed?) that opens to show several colors. The bush does not seem to grow very fast.

Euonymus americanus, Heart’s a bustin’ The deer eat it, so… yeah, doesn’t grow fast. Put it in the shade garden, protect from the deer, it makes a nice shrub.
