Notes:
My MotherÕs passed years back. For years, have garaged in winter. What is this plant? Can I plant in yard? Do I prune and if so – how? ItÕs too big and heavy for me to continue moving in and out. Living in Bowdon , Ga. thanks for your help

Looks like a plumeria/ frangipani. It’s a tropical and will not survive the winter. You certainly can trim this back for a manageable size. Check out these included links for pruning methods. You can root those trimmings for new plants, also from its seeds too. On the side note, when moving heavy potted plants around, I use a two wheel heavy duty Hand Truck dolly.
