Notes:
This shrub is in our neighbors back yard. She said it had purple flowers on it last year, but none this year. It looks familiar,but I can’t think of it. Help.

My beautyberry has opposite leaves like this. Does it have clusters of either white or bright putple berries after it blooms with small white flowers?
