Can you identify this tree…grows in GA, produces upward growing cone shaped cluster of fragrant purple tube/trumpet flowers

    The pictures aren’t very clear, but it could indeed be an Empress tree (Paulownia tomentosa). I have several. They are nice trees, but they tend to spread if you aren’t careful. And, they tend to break in strong winds.
