    Purple Centaurea Montana Flower Pic commonly known as hybrid bachelor buttons…re-seeds freely once established…may be transplanted…I have moved plants to flower beds all around the house…have given it away, and pulled like weeds when it becomes too invasive…dead head when its blooming to prolong the blooming…beautiful when massed together and in bloom

    Looks like a species of Centaurea genus. Sorry, I can’t be certain which species this is. I am guessing this might be mountain bluetss, or mountain cornflowers (Centaurea montana).
