Date Photo Taken: April 28, 2012

Notes:

Seen blooming today, scarce, high and dry, appears to be four-petaled and opposite leaves but not bluet or cardamine. Any ideas?

This is Venus’ pride (Houstonia purpurea). It has also been called “Woodland bluet.”
