Notes:

Found each yr. in my naturalistic woodland steppe garden which borders a 100 yr. flood plain. About 2 ft. tall bunched plant w/flowers; delicate greenery. Only lasts a very short time. Have looked in many books to no avail.

Bobby you are truly impressive in your botanical knowledge…thanks SO much for supplying me w/a name for one of my favorite perennials…it is truly one of the specimen florals in my ‘little piece of paradise’ as I call my 29 yr. old woodland garden, planted by the owner before me (a gifted gardener) and lovingly kept up by yours truly (not without aches and pains galore!)…Marnie
