Notes:

I came across this beauty while I was walking my friend’s pup in Santa Monica, CA this morning. The purple flower was approximately 12″ in length and the white pods in center were about 1-1/2 inches in length. I’m hoping someone can identify what looks like a tropical plant to me : )

    That is spectacular! Compare to Aristolochia gigantea Aka Brazilian Dutchman’s Pipe Finding seeds on that vine shouldn’t be difficult, and pipevine comes up easily from fresh seed.
