Notes:

A friend of mine gave me a snipping of this plant as a house warming present. He did not know what it was, just that it smelled really good. The leaves are verigated and fuzzy and the white edges turn pink to red when they are in full sun. Do you have any idea what it is? Thanks so much!

    If the leaves smells like Vick’s vap-o-rub when you crush them then it could be Plectranthus tomentosa. It is a medicianl herb used to make poultices and tea to treat ailments.

    Yes, It looks like it. In India it is found to be only green. It is used for treating cold and cough , and also for making fritters!
