Notes:
This plant is in a pot right now. It made it fine through the winter… evergreen and has put on new growth this summer. It has small red berries on it in the fall. It has tiny white flowers…hardly detectable unless one is looking for them. I think it would really spread out if put in the yard…which I want to do. I think it must be some kind of holly. It came in a dish garden from a florist. I took it back to the florist, and no one there could identify it.

It’s a green ardesis, an evergreen vine that stays compact and does very well in pots–may be invasive if planted in the ground.

Looks to me like you have ardisia japonica there.
