So here’s the back story:
I was sent this houseplant/cactus as part of a gift package several years ago. That’s right, it survived more than a week in the mail stuffed into a box in the heat of summer, with no sunlight and no water. Over the years, I’ve been a terrible owner, constantly neglecting it and putting it in places where no normal plant would survive.
I’ve resolved to change my neglectful ways, but I don’t know what it’s called, so I can’t look up information on what I’m doing wrong. It’s been dying for so long that it’s lost most of its leaves and nothing I’ve tried has been able to turn things around. This may be a $5 plant you can buy at Wal-Mart/Target/etc., but it has a lot of sentimental value to me. Please help!
