Several of these came up in my compost. I think it may be squash. I had spread out the compost and covered with a plastic sheet to get weed seeds to germinate before I put it in the vegetable garden, so these might not normally have come up this early.

your correct, this is some type of squash. If you stick it in an area with good sun and soil it will produce well.
