Notes:
This weed is growing in my bermuda and st augustine lawn. It looks like spurge but this weed grows up from a single stem that’s about 1-2″ high. It has a dark green color and is invasive. I have spurge weeds in my gravel walkway that looks like this but it grows close to the ground and this plant grows upright

July 31st, 2011 at 10:01 pmLate winter and early spring preEmergents will be the best solution in 2012. There are post emergents that are labeled for the control lespedeza in your bermuda. Some of these products can also be used on St Augustine. Exercise extreme caution with post emergent remedies applied to your St Augustine. Common Lespedeza is a summer annual weed so the first frost will kill it this year.
