Notes:
Fast growing vine with varigated leaves. Has small white blooms on small stems off of trunk. It put on growth in the spring. It’s been around for a while, but this is the first time we’ve noticed the blooms.
Thanks in advance!

I live in NH and I have battled this myself, I believe it to be bindweed(morning glory weed.

Granddad, I believe this is a morning glory as well but, the variegated leaves and flower color have me little stumped! How large are the blooms and are there any 3 lobed leaves on the plant.

I think it looks a lot like a wild buckwheat.
June 23rd, 2012 at 4:03 pmI searched “variegated Polygonum”, I found a bunch of similar looking plants in the Japanese knotweed family.

There are no lobed leaves. The blooms are very small and are putting out at every leave joint. They are on bunchs like grapes.
