Notes:

I have posted pictures of this plant before but no one seems to know what it is. I saw Walter at the Norcross Garden Club meeting last week and he said post again so I am. If anyone can tell me what this plant is I would love it. It is pretty once it bloomed. The leaves are big and it stands over 3 ft tall. Thanks for all your help naming this plant.

The bloom looks like yellow coneflower. Compare to these links: http://www.illinoiswildflowers.info/prairie/plantx/yl_coneflowerx.htm http://plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symbol=RAPI

Not sunflower, a rudbeckia. There are a coupla look-a-likes, rudbeckia nitida, and rudbeckia laciniata.
