Notes:
This pot use to have a clipping of a shamrock plant (I believe, it had white blooms) which died. A few months later this guy started growing. It sprouted at the beginning of this summer. The stem seems woody and firm. There seems to be a second sprout starting next to the main stem. In the first photo you can see a few thorns (?). The leaves are not hairy. No visible flower buds have started. He is currently living in an office building in a south facing window on the fifth floor.

Maybe a type of citrus plant. Crush a leaf to see if you have citrus smell. https://www.google.com/search?q=citrus+seedling&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CCwQ7AlqFQoTCNab_6TV_sgCFcnCJgodn4MPIQ&biw=1920&bih=914#imgrc=D1jbFNz2Vx9epM%3A
