Notes:
This started growing at the beginning of winter when the mint started to wain. This has spread quickly throughout the entire pot which is about 1 meter wide. What is this?

With out the flowers to narrow down its ID. I’m speculating only, perhaps it might be the creeping speedwell (Veronica filiformis)? You know more when it blooms. If it turns out not V. filiformis, please post again with photo of the blooms. Thank you and best wishes! https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=Veronica+filiformis+grow+in+oregon&sa=N&biw=1366&bih=614&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&ved=0ahUKEwj2hPin1urLAhVIopQKHY7GAYU4FBDsCQgm#imgrc=2y8V6m_5exDbLM%3A

I first thought maybe it was chocolate mint, but the leaves are too round and the smell isn’t minty at all. Didn’t smell like something I wanted to taste.
