Any idea what plant(weed)this is? It is taking over my backyard and I want to eradicate it. I am looking online but closet thing I can find is pokeweed. Don’t think that is it though. This grows low to ground in large spiral-like bunches. Grows large but not really tall. When I cut them they were about 2 feet tall and had been growing for over a month or so but wide growth and very thick.

Don’t know for sure, but in Ky. it could be known as “Purslane.”[Does it grow kind of on the ground?

Hey you can eat it ! It is purslane . It’s very high in vit c and great in salads just wash it in vinegat and water first to get the “critters “off .first .

Thanks for all of the responses! Yes,Jenny Aaron, it does grown on the ground and seems to grow out more than up. I am going to do some research into Purslane. It is getting worse and I need to do something about it. I will post back if i find out any more info. Thanks again all!
