Tall Plant

Notes:

I discovered this tall plant, 12 to 14 feet, in front of the house by the street. It has a small yellow bloom, and spindly leaves and is quite tall, well over the 12 foot sun flowers previously located in the same part of the garden.

No one seems to know what it is called.

Goldenrod is often confused with Ragweed. They grow in the same conditions and bloom at the same time. Ragweed has less obvious flowers and it is the one which produces pollen that causes the most allergic reactions. There are cultivated varieties of Goldenrod available at nurseries that are very well behaved in the landscape.
