Notes:
Tall, thinner tree with weeping branches in my backyard. Likes dull sun, and seems to be reseeding itself rather successfully. Zone 8b (though close enough to 9 to not matter), and growing wild through my neighborhood.

Looks like Chinese Tallow tree or popularly known as Popcorn tree. The seed pod, when ripe, will pop open showing white shells. They will self seed everywhere and don’t seem to be particularly strong trees in my experience.
