Type of tulip

I am asking what kind of tulip these are but it could be there is something wrong with them. Smaller and really twisted foliage than a usual tulip. First image is early, second is later with the flower bud. These are rescues previous owner planted in another bed and I transplanted. Looked normal before only twisted after transplant.

    First,I don’t know what kind of tulip it is, but it looks like a plain ol’ Darwin Hybrid that has seen better days.
    Second, I’m curious why you transplanted these while they are trying to bloom? It’s much better to do this in the fall.
    Finally, it looks like the curly leaves are due to being too close to the lawn when it got sprayed with a broadleaf weed killer.
