It’s tough without its flowers since there are other plants with similar look, i.e. Amsonia, horseweed species, etc… We need to see more details to go further for you. Please resubmit with closeup of the leaves, stem & base of the plant (s) against a white background. Also please list the state Aurora is located, for example: Aurora, TX, Aurora, Illinois, etc… this would help us to narrow down the genus & species for you. Thank you & best wishes!
